Disaster under Vista

Does not work well under Vista. Visual and functional no good experience.

Fiddler is free and works well.

Excellent HTTP analysis tool

I needed a tool to analyse HTTP requests to web pages and a quick Google search turned up HTTP Spy .NET.

The screenshots on the site looked promising, so I thought I'd give it a spin.

I've only used it for a day, but I already like it very much. It's a .NET application that you just unzip and run without installing. Nice.

The functionality is straight forward and clear and the product gives you clear information about HTTP request to web pages. It tells you what the web server retruned, how big it is, how long it took and it allows you to inspect the data in formatted and raw format.

There's just one downside: it only works with Internet Explorer, pages visited through Firefox are not analyzed.
